Dow Jones drops nearly 500 points as China is unstable

US stocks fell on Monday (November 28), as social unrest from the Covid-19 lockdown measures in China weighed on the market.

Ending Monday’s session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 497.57 points (or 1.45%) to 33,849.46 points. The S&P 500 index lost 1.54% to 3,963.94 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 1.58% to 11,049.50.
